For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Issersheilingen, Kinder in einer Parkanlage Zentralbild Zimmer 19.7.1960 Vom vergessenen zum schönen sozialistischen Dorf. Einst gehörte auch die kleine Gemeinde Issersheilingen im Kreis Bad Langensalza - da es am äussersten Ende des Kreises liegt- mit zu den sogenannten vergessenen Dörfern. Heute ist es vollgenossenschaftlich und auf dem Wege zum sozialistischen Dorf. Nichts erinnert mehr an das vergessene Dorf. Die herrlichen Parkanlagen mit ihren farbenprächtigen Blumenrabatten geben dem Dorf ein schönes Antlitz. Issersheilingen zählt mit zu den besten Gemeinden des Kreises Bad Langensalza im Wettbewerb um Das schöne sozialistische Dorf. UBz: Renate Jung und Ingrid Rechenbach mit ihren Geschwistern im Rosenanger ihres Dorfes.
