For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Zentralbild-Kohls-Weiß Vgt-Fr 13.9.1960 Regierung ehrte verdiente Sportler. Auf Empfehlung des Präsidiums des Ministerrates der Deutschen Demokratischen Republik wurden vom Vorsitzenden des Staatsrates der DDR, Walter Ulbricht, auf einem Festakt des Ministerrates am 13.9.1960 im Haus der Ministerien in Berlin 56 Sportler, Trainer und Funktionäre mit hohen staatlichen Auszeichnungen geehrt. UBz: Walter Ulbricht, Vorsitzender des Staatsrates der DDR, im Gespräch mit der zweifachen Goldmedaillengewinnerin Ingrid Krämer (links).
