For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Lietzen, Pflege von Entenküken Zentralbild Martin 5.10.1960 Für den Sonntagsbraten wird gesorgt. Die Grundlage für 4 500 dt Entenfleisch schaffen die Kollegen des VEG Lietzen im Kreis Seelow, indem sie bis Jahresende aus ihrer Brutanstalt 200.000 Entenküken für die LPG und VEG zur Verfügung stellen. Z. Zt. Besitzen sie 4, 5, tausend Zuchtenten und Erpel. UBz: Die Lehrlinge Christiane Siewert (links) und Karin Neumann pflegen die jungen vor wenigen Tagen geschlüpften Entenküken. Unter dem Infrarotstrahler wachsen die Küken gesund auf.
