For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Rossau, Nachtarbeit, Heuernte Zentralbild Gahlbeck 28.6.1961 MTS Rossau im Kreis Haineichen hatte ihren Halbjahrplan für Feldarbeiten bereits am 17. Juni erfüllt. Daß sich die Traktoristen nicht auf ihren Lorbeeren ausruhen, beweist ihre Einsatzfreudigkeit während der Arbeitsspitzen bei der Heuernte. Sie werden dabei von Genossenschaftsbauern unterstützt, die als Schichttraktoristen mitarbeiten. UBz: Auch nach Einbruch der Dunkelheit arbeiten der Schichttraktorist Helmut Sachse, Genossenschaftsbauer einer Lpg vom Typ I, und Hilma Winkler aus der Geflügelfarm weiter, bis das Feld restlos gemäht ist.
