For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Röhrsdorf, Besprechung auf dem Feld Zentralbild Gahlbeck 22.8.1961 MTS-Technik für LPG Typ I in Röhrsdorf, Kreis Karl-Marx-Stadt. In wenigen Stunden erntete der Mähdrescherfahrer Lothar Höppner einen 3-Hektar-Schlag Sommergerste der LPG "Goldene Ähre" Röhrsdorf im Landkreis Karl-Marx-Stadt ab. "Das ging schon besser als auf den Handtuchfeldern des Vorjahres", sagte er. Der Traktorist will sich dafür einsetzen, daß alle Mitglieder dieser LPG vom Typ I, In Röhrsdorf die Vorteile der vergrößerten Flächen erkennen und alle Felder zusammenlegen sowie gemeinsam bearbeiten. UBz: Mähdrescher -Brigadier und staatlicher geprüfter Landwirt Helmut Köhn (links) bespricht mit Mähdrescherbesatzung Höppner-Kuhnis (vlnr) den nächsten Einsatz.
