Chemnitz, Institu für Maschinenbau Zentralbild Gahlbeck Gal-Qu. 4.12.1961 Zum 14.Plenum Institut für Werzeugmaschinen Karl-Marx-Stadt forciert Automatisierung Als "Laboratorium des technischen Fortschrittes" wie es der Stellvertretende sowjetische Ministerpräsident A.I. Mikojan bei seinem Besuch in Karl-Marx-Stadt nannte, "leistet das Institut für Werkzeugmaschinen umfangreiche Pionierarbeit", um die technisch-wissenschaftliche Entwicklung des Werkzeugmaschinenbaues der DDR zu beschleunigen. Ein Gradmesser hierfür sind die 45 Forschungs-und Entwicklungsthemen, die das Institut im kommenden Jahr bearbeiten wird. Sie entsprechen der Forderung des 14.Plenums des ZK der SED, einen beharrlichen Kampf um die Verbesserung des wissenschaftlich-technischen Niveaus der Produktion zu führen.
