For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Zentralbild Hochneder 21.12.1961 Medikamentenschmuggel in Weihnachtssendungen Eine Dokumentation der Unmenschlichkeit und des Verbrechens stellt eine Ausstellung des Amtes für Zoll und Kontrolle des Warenverkehrs dar, die am 19.12.61 vor Pressevertretern im Ministerium für Gesundheitswesen in Berlin eröffnet wurde. Vom Abtreibungsmittel in der Zigarettenpackung bis zum Contergan im Bonbonpapier, vom gefährlichen Antibiotikum in der aufgeschnittenen Marzipanfigur bis zum stark arsenhaldigen Präparat in der Schachtel einer Mattcreme sind hier Beweise angehäuft, die das Ausmaß der Gefahr kennzeichnen, die die Bevölkerung der DDR durch den Medikamentenschmuggel aus Westberlin ausgesetzt wird. |
