Die Schiffbautechnische Fakultät ist die größte ihrer Art in Europa und ist mit dem modernsten wissenschaftlichen Geräten für Lehre und Forschung auf dem Gebiet der Schiffbautechnik ausgerüstet, u.a. mit einer Strömungshalle und einem Maschinenprüfstand.
