For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Fahrt zu Erntehilfe Zentralbild Stolle-Nl.-ga.-31.8.62 Aufgetankt für die große Fahrt in den Bezirk Rostock ...werden die 30 Mähdrescher aus dem Bezirk Cottbus (unser Bild), die am 30. August ihre Reise in den Bezirk Rostock, der bei der Einbringung der Ernte zurückgeblieben ist, antreten. Schon am Sonnabend werden die Mähdrescher auf den Feldern der Genossenschaften des Kreises Stralsung und auf der Insel Rügen arbeiten. Weitere 150 Mähdrescher aus dem Bezirk Cottbus werden am Wochenende umgesetzt.
