For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Quedlinburg, Möbelfabrik, Schleifen Zentralbild Studrè 12.11.1963 PGH Holzverarbeitung Quedlinburg. Die PGH Holzverarbeitung Quedlinburg stellte bis vor kurzem noch Ladeneinrichtungen, Fenster und Türen her. Jetzt hat sie ihre gesamte Produktion auf die Herstellung des neuentwickelten Schlafzimmers "Modell S 459" vom Entwurfsbüro der Möbelindustrie Schkeuditz umgestellt. Dieses Modell wurde auf der Leipziger Herbstmesse 1963 mit einem Diplom ausgezeichnet und fand großen Anklang bei den Käufern des In-und Auslandes. Bis Ende dieses Jahres sollen noch 90 und im nächsten Jahr ca. 1000 Zimmer ausgeliefert werden. UBz: Meister Heinz Klaucke, Mitglied der PGH Holzverarbeitung Quedlinburg, gibt der Frisierkommode, bevor sie zur Oberflächenbearbeitung kommt, den letzten Schliff.
