For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Magdeburg, Karl-Marx-Straße, Hotel Zentralbild Ritter 4.9.1964 Zum zehnjährigen Bestehen der Medizische Akademie Magdeburg Mit einem Kostenaufwand von 5 Mill. MDN wurde das im September 1959 seiner Bestimmung übergebene Gebäude der Pathologie erbaut. Neben den Wissenschaftlern haben hier die Studenten der klinischen Semester die Möglichkeit zu forschen. Für diese Forschungsarbeit steht ihnen ein Elektronenmikroskop zur Verfügung. Für die theoretische Ausbildung der Studenten stehen zwei große Hörsäle bereit.

Studenten der Medizinischen Akademie im September 1964 vor dem Gebäude des Pathologischen Instituts. Rechts hinten ist das Blutspendeinstitut dargestellt. Zwischen den Gebäuden ist das Studentenwohnheim im Fermersleber Weg 73 zu erkennen. Die Originalbeschreibung als Hotel in der Karl-Marx-Straße ist falsch.
