For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Magdeburg, Technische Hochschule, Mensa, Studentenwohnheim Zentralbild Ritter Kri-rr. 31.5.1965 Vorbereitung VII. Arbeiterjugendkongress Magdeburg: Vom 5.6. bis zum 7.6. findet in Magdeburg der VII. Deutsche Arbeiterjugendkongress statt. Die Stadt wird in diesen Tagen zum Treffpunkt Tausender Jugendlicher, die hier fröhliche Pfingsttage erleben werden. Die Gäste aus Westdeutschland werden aus eigener Anschauung erleben, wie in der DDR das Mitbestimmungsrecht der Jugend verwirklicht wurde, wofür die westdeutsche Jugend heute noch erbittert kämpfen muß. UBz: Eingang zur neuen Mensa der technischen Hochschule in Magdeburg. Im Hintergrund das neue Studentenwohnheim.
