Mit der Entscheidung, staatliche Beteiligung aufzunehmen, entschieden sich Komplenmentär Dieter Liebetruth und sein Vater, der den Betrieb nach seiner Rückkehr aus der Kriegsgefangenschaft im Jahre 1948 wieder aufgebaut hatte und dessen ganzes streben bis dahin auf den eigenen Verdienst, die sichere Existenz des Betriebes gerichtet war, bereits vor Jahren für ein Leben im Sozialismus, für die Mitarbeit beim Aufbau der sozialistischen Gesellschaftsordnung. Betriebsleiter Dieter Liebtruth hat das Vertrauen der 210 Beschäftigten der Firma - er wurde als Abgeordneter ins Stadtparlament gewählt.
