For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.  Meliorationsarbeiten
Zentralbild Schaar 19.5.69-Halle: Bezirksjugenobjetk "Unstrut-Helme" Erfolgreich im Wettbewerb zum 20. Jahrestag. Fünf Jahre früher als vorgesehen wollen die 80 FDJ-ler des Bezirksjugendobjektes "Unstrut-Helme" die wasserwirtschaftlichen und meliorativen Arbeiten an Unstrut und Helme abschließen. Auf unserem Foto wird mit dem UB 83 das alte Flußbett der Helme verbreitert und eine neue Böschung angesetzt. Im Perspektivzeitraum bis 1974 wird der Nutzen der komplexen Melioration im Meliorationsverband "Unstrut-Helme" für die Landwirtschaft 564.000 dt Getreideeinheiten betragen. |
