For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Rostock, Überseehafen, Verladung eines Waggons Zentralbild Sindermann 27-6-1969 Rostock: Gleisbauzug für Vietnam verladen-Repräsentanten von Friedensbewegungen aus 17 euopäischen und überseeischen Ländern waren am 27.6.1969 bei einer Solidaritätsveranstaltung Zeugen einer der vielen Solidaritätstaten der DDR-Bevölkerung für den Freiheitskampf des vietnamesischen Volkes: Am Stückgutkai wurden vom DDR-Frachter "Berlin" letzte Teile einer Ladung wertvoller Sendungen für die DRV übernommen. Darunter befindet sich ein Gleisbauzug, den 18000 Eisenbahner der Reichsbahndirektion durch Spenden und Solidaritätsbasare finanzierten und in Sonderschichten bauten.
