For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Erfurt, PH, Lesesaal Zentralbild Demme 28-8-69 Erfurt: Pädagogisches Institut wird Hochschule- Mit einer feierlichen Ernennung am 5.9.68 wird das bisherige Institut zur Hochschule umgewandelt. Die 16jährige Arbeit der über 600 Beschäftigten findet somit eine würdige Anerkennung. Nach Zusammenlegung mit dem Pädagogischen Institut Mühlhausen wird die Hochschule "Dr. Theodor Neubauer" Erfurt-Mühlhausen die größte Lehrerbildungsstätte in der Republik sein.
