For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Warnemünde, Lotsenstation Zentralbild Sindermann 17-2-70 Rostock: Neue Lotsenstation- Zu einem weiteren Wahrzeichen von Warnemünde wurde die 26 Meter hohe neue Lotsenstation. Nach deren Fertigstellung wird der Schiffsbetrieb von hier aus geleitet. Zu den modernen technischen Ausrüstungen der Station wird u.a. eine neue Hafenradaranlage mit großer Reichweite gehören, die die verantwortungsvolle Arbeit der Seelotsen unterstützen soll. - siehe dazu auch Foto Nr.
