Eberswalde, Begutachtung eines Schadholzes ADN-ZB Sturm 17.8.1971-Eberswalde (Bez. Frankfurt-Oder): Forstwissenschaft zur Gestaltung einer sozialistischen Landeskultur. Zur "Woche der sozialistischen Landeskultur 1971", die vom 29.8. bis 4.4.1971 in der DDR durchgeführt wird, kann das Eberswalder Institut für Forstwissenschaft der Deutschen Akademie der Landwirtschaftswissenschaften über gute Forschungsarbeiten berichten. Prof. Dr. Ulrich Sedlag (r) leitet die Abteilung Forstschutz, in der sich die Wissenschaftler besonders um vorbeugende Maßnahmen zur Gesunderhaltung der Wälder bemühen. Speziell der Erforschung von Baumkrankheiten widmet sich Dr. Waldfried Kessler (l.), deswegen ist für ihn ein von Hallimasch befallener junger Ahorn-Stamm ein gutes Objekt, den größten Holzzerstörer unter die Lupe zu nehmen.
