For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.  Wismar, Hafen
ADN-ZB Sindermann 28.3.72- Bez. Rostock: Rger Umschlagbetrieb im Seehafen Wismar-Während der Frachter der Deutschen seereederei "Oelsen" (links) Stangeneisen aus der Sowjetunion löscht, lädt am Nebenkai der kubanische Frachter "Ignacio Agramonte" Kali aus der DDR für die Inselrepublik. Am zweitgrößten DDR-Seeumschlaghafen legen täglich Schiffe aus der SU, aus Kuba, der ARÄ, Finnland und anderen Nationen an. Durch die Spezialisierung auf den Umschlag von Düngemitteln, Getreide, Stückgut und Schnittholz wollen die Umschlagarbeiter eine schnelle Abfertigung garantieren.
