For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. ADN-ZB 14.10.1974 BRD Düsseldorf-Pressefest der "UZ" Von 21. bis 22.10.1974 fand in Düsseldorf das erste zentrale Pressefest der DKP-Zeitung "Unsere Zeit" statt. Über 250 000 Menschen besuchten die vielfältigen politischen und kulturellen Veranstaltungen auf den Rheinwiesen. Auf einem Forum mit internationalen Gästen im überfullten "UZ"-Zelt konnte George Polikeit, Chefredakteur der "UZ", feststellen, daß das Fest alle Erwartungen übertroffen habe. Es sei ein großes Volksfest der arbeitenden Menschen und ein kulturelles Ereignis von Rang gewessen. Unter den Gästen befand sich auch der Leiter der Ständigen Vertretung der DDR in der BRD, Botschafter Dr. Michael Kohl (1. Reihe sitzend 1.v.r.). |
