For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Neujahrsfest ADN-ZB Katscherowski 29.12.74 Berlin-Zum Jolkafest in Spree-Athen trafen sich am 29.12.74 Bürger der DDR-Hauptstadt und der Sowjetunion. Im Rahmen der Sendung des Berliner Rundfunks "7 - 10 - Sonntagmorgen in Spreeathen" berichteten Werktätige über ihre Begegnungen mit sowjetischen Freunden, und die kleinen Helfer von Väterchen Frost verteilten die Sonntagspakete (unser Foto). (siehe dazu auch ADN-Meldung v. 29.12.74)
