ADN-ZB Reiche 17.12.75 Bez. Cottbus - Zum 100. Geburtstag Wilhelm Piecks - Liebevoll schmücken die Pioniere der Gubener Wilhelm-Pieck-Oberschule die Büste des ersten Arbeiterpräsidenten der DDR und halten die Grünanlagen in Ordnung. Simone Walter, Steffen Noack (l.) und Thomas Schwartzke (vorn) aus der 3. Klasse haben diese Aufgabe mit anderen Schülern übernommen. Die 300 Mädchen und jungen der Gubener Schule, die seit 1952 den Namen Wilhelm Pieck trägt, haben u.a. einen Traditionsflur mit Dokumenten über das Leben des großen Sohnes ihrer Heimatstadt eingerichtet. Das dort ausgestellte Material wird von einer Arbeitsgemeinschaft Junge Historiker ergänzt. Zum 100. Geburtstag des Arbeiterführers (3.1.75) bereiten die Pioniere und FDJ-Mitglieder der Schule Kulturprogramme vor, mit denen sie während einer Festwoche in der Schule und im Wohngebiet auftreten.
