For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Veilsdorf, Beregnungsanlage ADN-ZB Schaar 12.5.76 Bez. Suhl: Die extreme und anhaltende Trockenheit verlangt, wie überall auf den Feldern der Republik, von den Genossenschaftsbauern der LPG Befreites Land Veilsdorf, Kreis Hildburghausen, eine durchgehende künstliche Beregnung wichtiger landwirtschaftlicher Flächen. Hat es auf einer Fläche genug geregnet, wird die Rollstrangbewässerungsanlage umgesetzt. Für ihre hohen Leistungen in der landwirtschaftlichen Produktion wurden die Genossenschaftsbauern der LPG mit einem Ehrenbanner des ZK ausgezeichnet. (siehe auch R0512-4N)
