ADN-ZB/Archiv Konterrevolutionärer Kapp-Putsch vom 13.-17.3.1920 in Berlin

Mit dem Einmarsch der Marinebrigade Ehrhardt am 13. März in Berlin beginnt der Putsch. Als Antwort rufen KPD, USPD, SPD und Gewerkschaften zum Generalstreik auf, an dem sich in ganz Deutschland etwa 12 Mio beteiligen. Die von den Putschisten gebildete Regierung unter Wolfgang Kapp und General von Lüttwitz muß deshalb bereits am 17. März zurücktreten. Berliner holen während des Generalstreiks an einer öffentlichen Pumpe Wasser.
