Tangermünde, Stapellauf Frachtschiff "Ernst Thälmann"

Aufn.:Illus/Merker Stapellauf des Motor-Schnellfrachtschiffes "Ernst Thälmann" auf der Schiffswerft Tangermünde. Das grösste Motor-Schnellfrachtschiff der Elbe in der Ostzone, welches im Hennecke-Tempo von der volkseigenen Tangermünder Schiffswerft hergestellt wurde, lief am 18.8.49 - dem 5-jährigen Todestag Ernst Thälmann - vom Stapel und wurde auf seinen Namen getauft. Der neue Schnellfrachter hat eine Länge von 67 m und ein Ladegewicht von 820 to. U.B.z.: FDJ und Junge Pioniere waren zu dem Festakt erschienen.
