For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Freizeitraum im Lehrlingsheim ADN-ZB Senft 23.5.77 Bez. Cottbus: In ihrem originell eingerichteten Kellerklub fühlen sich die Lehrlinge des VEG Görlsdorf Kr. Luckau sehr wohl. In 500 Arbeitsstunden gestalteten sich die Jugendlichen in ihrer Freizeit diesen ehemaligen Essenraum um. Viel Elan zeigten sie z.B. beim Auffinden von altem Stall- und Ackergerät, das nun den Raum schmückt. In dem volkseigenen Gut erhalten 54 Mädchen und 6 Jungen eine zweijährige Ausbildung als Zootechniker-Mechanisator. Da sie in verschiedenen Orten des Bezirks Cottbus zu Hause sind, wohnen sie im Internat.
