Die erste Parteikonferenz der SED

Am 25.1.1949 trat im Gebäude der Deutschen Wirtschaftskommission in Berlin die 1. Parteikonferenz der Sozialistischen Einheitspartei Deutschlands zu ihren Beratungen zusammen. Die Mitglieder des Parteivorstandes erarbeiteten zusammen mit einer großen Zahl von Parteiaktivisten eine Einschätzung der Lage, legten die weiteren Aufgaben fest und stellten die Perspektiven des Kampfes der Arbeiterklasse und der Werktätigen klar. Diese erste Parteikonferenz besitzt damit eine große Bedeutung für die weitere Entwicklung der Sozialistischen Einheitspartei und für den demokratischen Aufbau in der Ostzone.
