Illus/Heilig Die Tagung des III. Deutschen Volkskongresses. Am 29. und 30. Mai 1949 tagte in der Deutschen Staatsoper in Berlin der III. Deutsche Volkskongress. Der Hauptpunkt der Tagesordnung lautete "Deutschland und die Pariser Konferenz", über den Otto Nuschke (CDU), Prof. Dr. Hermann Kastner (LDP) und Vincenz Müller (NPD) referierten. Anschließend an die Aussprache über diesen Punkt der Tagesordnung wählte der III. Deutsche Volkskongreß die deutsche Delegation zur Pariser Konferenz der Aussenminister. Vor der Neuwahl des Deutschen Volksrates bestätigte der Kongreß den Volksratsbeschluß vom 19. März 1949 über die Verfassung der Deutschen Demokratischen Republik.
