Wie in allen Städten und Dörfern der sowjetisch-besetzten Zone fand auch in dem Grenzort Marienborn eine Friedenskundgebung statt, die eine besondere Note dadurch erhielt, dass sie unmittelbar an der Zonengrenze durchgeführt wurde.
