For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. ADN-ZB-Illus-Klein-7.7.50- Feierliche Unterzeichnung des Abkommens über die deutsch-polnische Friedensgrenze. Im Haus der Kultur in Zgorzelec, der an der Lausitzer Neisse gelegenen Grenzstadt, fand am 6. Juli 1950 die Unterzeichnung des Abkommens über die Markierung der festgelegten und bestehenden deutsch-polnischen Staatsgrenze statt. Im Namen der Deutschen Demokratischen Republik unterzeichnete Ministerpräsident Otto Grotewohl, der mit einer starken Regierungsdelegation in Zgorzelec erschienen war, im Namen der Republik Polen unterzeichnete Ministerpräsident Cyrankiewicz. UBz.: Eine starke Delegation der deutschen Werktätigen, an der Spitze die Volkspolizei, begibt sich über die Neissebrücke in Görlitz in die polnische Grenzstadt Zgorzelec, um dem feierlichen Akt beizuwohnen. 7141-50 |
