Heldburg, Bau eines Wasserspeichers zur Beregnung ADN-ZB Schaar 6.2.78 Bez. Suhl: Ein Wasserreservoir für die Beregnungsanlagen der LPG DSF Heldburg entsteht gegenwärtig zwischen Rellingen und Rieth im Kreis Hildburghausen. Der Kleinspeicher Lauter, der nach seiner Fertigstellung Anfang 1980 fast 60.000 Kubikmeter Wasser fassen soll, wird von Werktätigen des VEB Meliorationsbau Suhl errichtet. In zwei Schichten wird bei den Erdarbeiten die leistungsstarke Technik eingesetzt. Der kleine Stausee wird eine Fläche von 19 ha bedecken und ein acht Meter hoher und 539 m langer Damm wird das Wasser stauen. Höhere Pflanzenproduktion in den anliegenden landwirtschaftlichen Einrichtungen wird das Ergebnis dieses wichtigen Projekts sein.
