For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Leipzig, Bauarbeiter Schornstein mauernd ADN-ZB Gahlbeck 29.5.78 Leipzig: Fließstrecken sollen in der Ostvorstadt von Leipzig ein rationelles Instandsetzen von Dächern und Fassaden der Alfbeusubstanz sichern. Im Bereich Thälmannstraße-Ludwigstraße gehen diese Technologie die Arbeiten zügig voran. Auch die Schornsteine werden bei den Rekonstruktionsarbeiten ernuert. 954 Dächer und die Fassaden von 619 (619) Wohnungen wollen die Arbeiter des Kombinates für Baureparaturen und Rekonstruktion in diesem Jahr durch die zeit- und aufwandssparende Fließstreckentechnologie instandsetzen.
