For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
VEB Robotron Elektronik Dresden, Computer EC 2640 ADN-ZB Häßler 14-7-78-Bau-Dresden: Wettbewerb- Kabelstecker und -Bäume für die Zentraleinheiten der Rechner aus dem VEB Robotron Elektronik Dresden fertigt Ursula Preuber. Oft muß das Mikroskop bei diesen Arbeiten zur Hilfe genommen werden. Drei Tage vorfristig konnten die Werktätigen dieses Betriebes am Ende des 1. Planhalbjahres die 250. Zentraleinheit für einen Rechner vom Typ EC 2640 übergeben. Damit konnte ein guter Ausgangspunkt für die Realisierung des Wettbewerbs geschaffen werden. Bis zum 30.6.78 erfüllten die Elektroniker 51% des Jahresplanes.
