For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Berlin-Lichtenberg, VEB Elektrokohle , Brigade ADN-ZB Zimmermann 23.7.79 Berlin-Wettbewerb-Monatlich gemeinsam ihre Wettbewerbsziele abzustimmen, ist für diese beiden sozialistischen Brigaden aus dem VEB Elektrokohle Lichtenberg zur bewährten Praxis geworden. Im Rahmen einer Patenschaft geben die Mitglieder des Kollektivs "Boleslaw Bierut" aus dem Kleinkohlebereich ihre guten Erfahrungen an die Nachbarbrigade weiter, die für das Sintern und Imprägnieren der gepreßten Kohlebürsten verantwortlich ist. Die "Bieruts" haben sich im 30. Jahre der DDR vorgenommen, bedeutende Mengen an Energie und Arbeitszeit einzusparen und die Selbstkosten um 5.000 Mark zu senken.
