Weimar, Marktplatz, Stadthaus ADN-ZB Kaufhold 7.2.81 Bez. Erfurt: Schöne DDR. Das Weimarer Stadthaus befindet sich an der Ostseite des Marktes neben dem Cranach-Haus. Das stilvolle Renaissance-Gebäude wurde neben einer Reihe zahlreicher Bürgerhäuser in der zweiten Hälfte des 16. Jahrhunderts errichtet. Eine Reihe dieser Gebäude schuf der berühmte Renaissance-Baumeister NICOL GROMANN.
