Summary edit

Description
English: Burnt down holiday cottage This cottage was one of a number of properties throughout north and west Wales destroyed between 1979 and 1990 by a shadowy movement known as Meibion Glyndwr (Sons of Glyndwr). In spite of the high profile Operation Tan (Operation Fire) no successful prosecutions were brought against the movement. Some senior policemen have suggested that the Welsh police were sympathetic to the arsonists. Others have blamed the burnings on the British Security Services.
