Summary

Description
English: Burrow system The grey network visible in these rocks is the burrow system of the Jurassic crustacean Thalassinoides, relatives of which have survived to the present day.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thalassinidea

These trace fossils are fairly common at several levels of the Yorkshire Jurassic and are an indication that the sea bed was well oxygenated at these times.
