English: Burton Road bus plug The bus plug avoids a considerable detour via the Colwick Loop Road Extension. The lights are supposedly only set off by an approaching bus. Note that substantial cycle lanes have been provided; as a cyclist would not trigger the lights to green, the plug cannot be designated for mixed use. The actual road network means that there is a considerable level of abuse of the bus plug by motorists. |
