St. John the Baptist Church is often referred to as Barnet Church, located as it is on the junction of the High Street and Wood Street in the heart of the town. Even on a Sunday both roads are busy with traffic and a comprehensive bus service. Here vehicles on the 307 and 184 routes pass in late afternoon shadows as the church is bathed in sunshine. |
