Summary edit

Description
English: Bwlch y Rhiwgyr. Looking southwards from the pass. The signposted footpath leads down to the Mawddach estuary just to the east of Abermaw/Barmouth. There is also the bridleway following the old cart track, which descends the slope diagonally to the left, ultimately leading to Bontddu, further upstream in the estuary. The tide is out, and the main river channel of the Afon Mawddach is obvious among the sandbanks. On the opposite shore, the wooded former island of Fegla Fach can be seen. To look north from the pass, see this picture of 1752999.
