Русский: Меч, Византия, конец 6 - 7 в. Железо, серебро, альмандин. Общая длина 101 см, длина клинка 75,2 см, ширина 4 см, толщина 0,5 см, перекрестье 11,2 х 1,3 х 2,2 см; размеры черенка: длина 14,3 см, ширина в средней части 1,1 см, толщина в средней части 0,4 см; размеры обоймы: длина 7 см, ширина 3 см, толщина 2 см; размеры заклепки: шляпка 2,6 х 1 см, толщина заклепки около 0,05 см, возможно серебро; общая высота шпенька 1,9 см, то есть здесь толщина рукояти составляла около 2 см. ГИМ 111936. Оп. Б 2070/62.

Меч с реконструированными ножнами, Константинополь (?), вторая половина 5 - начало 6 в. Железо, золото, серебро, альмандины, основа модели - кожа. Общая длина 75,4 см, длина клинка 62,1 см, ширина лезвия у основания 4,5 см, перекрестье 9,2 х 3 см. Длина модели 66 см. Размеры устья 5,8 х 1,1 см, петель 5,9 х 2,9 см, диаметр заклепок 1,1 см, скобы 2,6 х 0,8 см и 2,7 х 0,8 см, пряжка 4,6 х 3 см, накладная пластина 23,5 х 3,1 см и 1,8 х 2,7 см. ГИМ 111936. Оп. Б 2070/10. Происходят с черноморского побережья Кавказа.
