Français : Cône de percussion provenant de l'astroblème de Charlevoix, au Canada, découvert en 2017.
Un astroblème est un cratère effacé par l'érosion. L'astroblème de Charlevoix est vieux de 400 millions d'années et son diamètre est de 54 km. Un cône de percussion est une modification de la roche environnant le point d'impact d'un météorite en raison des hautes pressions générées par la formation du cratère. Exposé à l'exposition "Météorites, entre ciel et terre", dans le bâtiment de la Grande galerie de l'évolution, au Muséum national d'histoire naturelle, à Paris (France), octobre 2017-10 juin 2018. |
