Description A U.S. Navy fleet logistics support squadron VR-24 Grumman C-2A Greyhound aircraft lands aboard the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN-69) on 6 May 1983. Also visible are seven Grumman F-14A Tomcat fighters and a Grumman E-2C Hawkeye AEW aircraft of Carrier Air Wing 7 (CVW-7). In the foreground is a Sikorsky SH-3G Sea King (BuNo 148987) of helicopter anti-submarine squadron HS-1 Seahorses, which was a fleet readiness training squadron.
