Description

Valkenburg, 28 March 1990.

A C-9A Nightingale of 375th Aeromedical Airlift Wing from Scott AFB (Illinois) is about to enter runway 23. A cold morning.

Visible to the left is SP-2H Neptune 202. She was lying their, on her belly, ready to be misused by the fire fighters.

And 68-10961 was scrapped in 2011 in one of the yards surrounding AMARC.
