Description
Deutsch: Das Langensalza-Denkmal auf dem alten Friedhof in Bad Langensalza, aufgenommen von dem Fotografen Christian Bregazzi. Der Fotoabzug auf einem Kartonträger im Kabinettformat zeigt das am 27. Juni 1868 enthüllte Denkmal für die durch die Schlacht bei Langensalza gefallenen Soldaten des Königreichs Hannover. Rings um das Mal sind weitere, teils frische und vielfach nur mit einer Nummer versehenen Grabstellen zu sehen, Offensichtlich wurde die Ansicht kurz nach einer Gedenkveranstaltung aufgenommen, denn an mehreren teils eisernen Grabkreuzen sind frisch gebundene Kränze zu erkennen. Unter den Grabmälern ragt eines im Vordergrund links heraus. Es trägt die Inschrift

„Hier ruhen die hannoverschen Soldaten Jakob Driels aus Emden und Hermann Herzfeld aus Mühlenhausen. Gestorben den Heldentod für König und Vaterland in Folge ihrer Wunden in der Schlacht bei Langensalza. Am 12. und 13. August 1866.“
