Description
Deutsch: Am Eingang in das Weißwassertal. Die hier beginnenden Wanderungen sind lang, zudem ist der Aufstiegsanteil bei einer Ausgangshöhe von 970 Metern besonders groß. Dafür ist Einsamkeit recht sicher, die meisten Kammüberschreiter gehen nordwärts. Die Angaben der Streckenlänge in Stunden ist eine Tatra-Spezialität, die nur in wenigen Wandergebieten üblich ist. Kilometerangaben sind im Hochgebirge nicht sinnvoll, doch das spricht sich nur langsam rum.
Die typischen TANAP-Wegweiser, die von der fast ebenso markanten tschechoslowakischen Einheitsform deutlich abweichen, gibt es nahezu unverändert schon seit Jahrzehnten. Das System der Wanderwegmarkierungen mit den vier Kennfarben rot, blau, grün und gelb wird in Tschechien und der Slowakei ebenfalls unverändert weiter angewendet.
