In June of 2014, the CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS) together with CARE trained and tested an upcoming Participatory Action Research Manual collecting valuable gender and social information about farmers. The manual is targeting researchers and development practitioners seeking to gather data and understand the reality of farmers with a gender-perspective through methods that are participatory in nature and have been developed through an extensive partnership and test-period.
