| Description | Downtown Vancouver, BC, on 1 January 1984: Rear view of trolleybus 2271, a 1950 CCF-Brill T48, eastbound on West Pender Street at Cambie Street. The Sun Tower is in the background. The last day of service for any Brill trolleybuses in Vancouver was 25 March 1984. (They had been scheduled to be retired in January 1984, and a "farewell" event was held on 15 January, but because of unforeseen problems with the new trolleybuses that had replaced them several Brills were kept in service through the winter.) |
