Description
Español: La presidenta Cristina Fernández firmó esta noche en su despacho de Casa Rosada los contratos para la extensión de vida por 30 años y repotenciación de la Central nuclear de Embalse Río Tercero. El acuerdo establece la transferencia de tecnología canadiense y asistencia para el desarrollo de componentes de fabricación nacional.

De la firma realizada en el despacho presidencial participaron la embajadora del Canadá en la República Argentina, Gwynth Kutz, la viceministra de Recursos Naturales de Canadá, Cécili Cleroux, el presidente de SNC Lavalin Internacional, Ronald Denom, el vicepresidente de AECL, Bruce Ambeault, y el vicepresidente ejecutivo de SNC Lavalin Nuclear, Patrick Lamarre.

Por parte del gobierno nacional estuvieron presentes también el secretario de Energía, Daniel Cameron, el subsecretario de Coordinación y control de Gestión, Roberto Baratta, la presidente de la Comisión Nacional de Energía Atómica, Norma Boero y el vicepresidente de Nucleoeléctrica Argentina, José Antunez.
