Object history
Deutsch: Die Einführung des heutigen Gemeindewappens wurde 1948 beschlossen. Es löste die Quitte (im lokalen Dialekt Chüttene) als Symbol ab, die aus Unkenntis von Herkommen und Bedeutung des Ortsnamens 1829 gewählt worden war. Das Gemeindewappen entstammt dem Siegel und Feldzeichen der Herren von Kienberg-Königstein, zu deren Herrschaft Küttigen rund 260 Jahre lang gehörte. Die Gemeinde Kienberg SO führt das selbe Wappen.
